to Celebrate Ecumenical Service on Janaury 25 in Belmont, CA

His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of the Greek
Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco and His Excellency Archbishop Salvatore
Cordileone of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco will join
together in prayer at a Vespers service on Monday, January 25 in Belmont,
California. This year’s gathering is taking place at the conclusion of the Week
of Prayer for Christian Unity to pray for Christian unity and for those
around the world suffering persecution for their faith. At this year’s ecumenical service, His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos will offer the homily. The service will be chanted by the Schola Cantorum of St. Patrick’s Seminary under the direction of Fr. Samuel Weber, O.S.B., Director of the Benedict XVI Institute for Sacred Music and Divine Worship.
All faithful are invited to participate in this service which will take place on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, California. Reception and fellowship following the service.
