Armenian representatives attend Orthodox Churches’ consultation in Greece

ETCHMIADZIN. – A consultation meeting of the representatives from the Orthodox Churches was held in the Greek island of Kos, from October 11 to Wednesday, and prior to the World Council of Churches conference to be held next year in Busan, South Korea.
The event brought together numerous clergy members as well as secular theologians from the Orthodox Churches. Lectures were delivered and organizational matters concerning the aforesaid conference were discussed at the meeting.
Also, on October 13, the delegates raised their prayers to God, so that the soul of recently deceased Archbishop Torkom Manoogian, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, may rest in peace.
Bishop Hovakim Manukyan represented the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin at the consultation and Ms. Salpi Eskedjian attended the event on behalf of the Great House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Information System of the Mother See informs.
