(roca-sobor.org) The Sobor of Bishops has begun at the Transfiguration Skete in Mansonville, Canada during the first week of October. After Divine Liturgy which was celebrated by His Grace Archbishop Vladimir as well as Their Graces Bishops Anastassy, Victor, Tikhon and Cassian and North American clergy, a Moleben was served to call on the Holy Spirit for guidance. Later a Pannikhida was served for the blessed repose of our predecessor hierarchs, Metropolitans Anthony, Anastassy, Vitaly and Archbishop Sergius of Montreal. The Sobor will continue into next week ending on the Feast of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John (26 Sept/ Oct 9). The prayers of the flock are requested by our hierarchs.
