On 18 September 2011, the Sunday after the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church consecrated the church of the “Descend of the Holy Spirit” in Turda Bai city, together with His Eminence Andrei, Metropolitan of Alba, Crisana and Maramures and His Grace Vasile Somesanul, Assistant Bishop to the Archdiocese of Vad, Feleac and Cluj and a group of priests and deacons. After the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, the Patriarch of Romania awarded diplomas to some of the persons who contributed to the construction of the place of worship.
