His Eminence Amfilohije Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral served yesterday, on the Feast of the Cross, the Divine Liturgy in the church of the Holy Cross in the Upper monastery of Ostrog, on the occasion of the Patron Saint's Day of the church. He was concelebrated by priests and monks from Montenegro, Kosovo and Metohija, Belgrade and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the Liturgy pupils of the Seminary of Peter of Cetinje (Cetinje) chanted.
After believers partook the Holy Communion, at the plateau in front of the church of the Honorable Cross Metropolitan blessed the slava cake and held a feast day's sermon.
Metropolitan Amfilohije then in the church of the Presentation of the Most Holy Theotokos, in which the relics of Saint Basil of Ostrog rest, handed over gifts for the church of St. Basil of Ostrog in Leposavic.
