The Original Greek Festival, celebrating its 45th year, will be held Oct. 6-9 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral complex, 3511 Yoakum - that's about halfway between downtown Houston and the Museum District.
Pre-sale tickets are available at www.greek festival.org through Oct. 6. Twenty bucks gets you one-day admission, a dinner plate and your choice of souvlaki, Greek salad or a pastry box. The smart play is the pastry box.
